I was born and raised in beautful Southern Oregon. Growing up, my life was a little
different than your average family. My parents were both deaf. I do not believe, however, that I was raised with a
disadvantage but the complete opposite. My two brothers and I learned to become patient, kind, open to diversity,
and learned sign language even before we could speak!
20 years later, here I am engaged to be married and raising my own daughter! She is my pride and joy and
the reason that I took the big leap of returning to school to better my future as well as hers. She is my
inspiration and my everything!
